Meet Kali Coochis!

Remaining just beyond the colonizer’s clutches, Kali Coochis is somehow still here. From the heights of the most brutal mesa at Hopi and Dinehtah, to the filthy gutters of this gentrified cow town she’s always called home, Kali is calm like a glittering bomb. Marking the anniversary of her return to the stage after a FOURTEEN YEAR HIATUS, Kali is ragged with grief and thundering with rage. The love of their community, ancestors and children are the driving force for continuing to stay lit in this hellscape, desperately creating and witnessing the pain and joy of others. This piece is dedicated to Mimi Madrid and those who have survived his untimely departure 9 months ago. He lived for Liberation of all oppressed beings with Love and Fierceness. This week they would’ve been 38 years young.

Meet Reality Rose!

Reality Rose is a Denver based burlesque performer with a penchant for humor and ass that's unreal. She's a regular performer at the Clocktower Cabaret as well as a traveling performer with credits including two years at the Northstar Nerdlesque Festival, two years at Phoenix Fan Fusion, and two years at Dragoncon. Rose teaches chair dance at Tease Studio every Monday night where she inspires students to rock their weird. She prides herself on finding the intersection of athleticism and storytelling in her character driven chair acro routines.

Meet Rain Boa!

Rain Boa is a queer, Hispanic, disabled, award-winning burlesque artist based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado! She is the 2025 Burlypicks Mountain Regionals “Pop Culture” Champion, and a regular on the “Stripped: A Valdez Production” stage! She has participated in numerous festivals and competitions, including the 2024 Creeplesque Fest, 2025 Mile HIGH Burlesque Fest, 2025 Burlypicks Nationals Competition, and group acts each year with the cast of "Stripped" at the Colorado Burlesque Festival from 2022-2025. Most recently, Rain Boa competed in the “Rumble in the Rockies Burlesque Competition,” a four-part themed, local competition, which is where this act was created!!

Meet Olivia Garten!

Olivia hails from the far off distant, mystical land of Aurora, Colorado. She grew up dancing, being a theater kid, and playing multiple instruments. As a subject of capitalism, she made the devastating decision to put her love of making art on the back burner when she graduated high school. Just a few years ago, she rage quit a job that was destroying her soul and vowed to use the extra time to do what made her happy. Shortly thereafter she found herself back in a dance class and things escalated from there. A lifetime lover of movement, taking her clothes off, and every single craft she has ever tried, it is surprising that she didn't join the burlesque scene until her thirties. She is so thankful to have found an outlet for her weird little thoughts that keep her up at night, and a community that accepts her jiggly, pansexual, brown body with open arms.... and throws money at it sometimes.

Olivia is also performing as part of The Burlective in our Friday Night Hot Mess Showcase!

Hailing from Denver, this sparkly stripping collective is composed of some of the sexiest and silliest vixens in the metro area. They are BurlyPicks Neo Classic Grand Champions for the Mountain Region, and winners of Best Buds at the Mile High Burlesque Festival.
